R'LYEH CITY - CHANGELOG v0.051a 05-27-2013 Bug Fixes - Overwrote an obsolete .pk3 file that was preventing some images from loading. - Added a blank config.cfg file to the data pk3 to prevent default Quake binds from being loaded initially. v0.05a 05-26-2013 Performance - Connected rooms on different elevations from the player no longer draw. Greatly improves FPS in areas around level changes. - The minimap now only draws rooms that are being drawn for the player. (The large map still draws everything that is loaded.) - Weapon networking has drastically improved bandwidth usage. HUD - The minimap now displays relative to the player's position. (The large map does not.) - The large map now draws on the right bottom corner where the minimap would be. - Moved status and inventory HUD elements to the left to avoid drawing over the player's weapons. Weapons - Added Weapons: Shotgun, Double Barrel Shotgun, Nailgun, Modified Nailgun, Grenade Launcher, Rocket Launcher, Cell Gun, Lightning Gun. - Added Ammo: Shells, Nails, Rockets, Cells. (Grenades can still be tossed individually w/o a launcher.) - Added appropriate effects for weapons and ammo. - Weapons are equipped/toggled via the Quick Bar. - Fists are used when no weapon is equipped. - Reduced grenade time till explosion to 2.5 seconds (from 5). Bug Fixes - Fixed a bug that was causing left mouse or enter to be assigned to a control when attempting to assign a new key. v0.02a 03-09-2013 World - Added outdoor walls to world generation. - Added "Surface Density" setting to world generation. HUD - More than doubled the world area drawn on the HUD map. - Decreased default minimap size, while thickening the walls to improve image quality for lower resolutions. Performance - Chest are now being culled.
